Support our team going to DR Congo!
Our May 2025 team will be focused on supporting the continual efforts of two of our missionary partnerships, Abraham & Maria Mudidi and Gary Haller at the Haller Orphanage.
Traveling approximately 19 hours out from the capital city of Kinshasa, they will be based in a small village. The objective is to assist Gary Haller and the village church leader, Pastor Laka.
They will help with orphan care, evangelism/discipleship, discuss next steps for facility, agriculture, health, and education projects that are underway.
Gary Haller will be getting married while the team is there and many guests will be arriving from neighboring villages. Pastor Gary Crawford will participate in the wedding and our team will help with preparations.
Fellow team member Klara Fletcher, with Straight Arrow Productions, will work throughout the week to capture the video images that tell the beautiful story of those living and working at the Haller Orphanage. Our hope is to have numerous videos to share that amplify the important life-saving work that’s happening there.
Pediatric Wheelchairs were graciously rebuilt and donated through the hard work of Jerry Fairchild’s pastor’s wife, Rebecca Mathis. When you see the photos of the recipients you’ll fully understand the significance of this blessing.
Missionary partner Abraham Mudidi will translate for us while at the orphanage and then will share his ministry with us when we are in Kinshasa.
This trip is difficult.
The travel alone is grueling and the challenges are numerous and frequent.
